Patient Testimonial for the Legalization of Marijuana in the State of Kansas

HB2610Is Kansas On Its Way to Legalizing Medicinal Marijuana?
The Health and Human Services Committee, lead by Representative Gail Finney, has introduced a bill in the Kansas Legislator supporting the legalization of Medical Marijuana in the State of Kansas. The bill (HB 2610) would allow citizens of Kansas to legally use marijuana for certain debilitating medical conditions; providing the registration and functions of compassion centers; authorizing the issuance of identification cards; providing for administration of the act by the department of health and environment. Please urge your elected officials to support this compassionate care legislation.

Contact Brenda Landwehr, Chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee, your Kansas State Senator and Representative to show your support for amending current policy to allow for the legal use of marijuana to assist in treating seriously ill Kansans.

Support for this bill is timely, I urge everyone to reach out to your elected officials in February.

Below is Brenda's contact information, links to get more elected officials contact information, a short video on how best to call your congress person, and many links to medical marijuana research along with poll results and some background on medical marijuana research in the US.
